There are two reasons I so desperately needed a 3DS. Reason number 1 being Phoenix Wright and Professor Layton colab, which BETTER HAPPEN OR ELSE! .. But most importantly, Kingdom Hearts 3D - Dream Drop Distance (Doesn’t it just roll off your tongue?!)
I have waited, sorry we all have waited and waited and waited .. at which point we thought there would never be a Kingdom Hearts 3 as such. And there still isn’t (Sad Face) but KH3D may be, at the moment, the best thing we get. I will admit, I haven’t sadly played the last two KH spinoff’s, I played Chain of Memories and was really disappointed. It just wasn’t Kingdom hearts to me.
Anyway ..
But now, after we have slip out of our coma’s and awoken from hibernation we are presented with KH3D - I’m excited because I have a 3DS but for those who don’t well, I’d be extremely depressed. 3DS’s aint cheap! and unless you can find a good deal, I think personally I would wait. OR here’s a better solution BRING THE GAME ON PS3 .. can you imagine how aweeeeeesome that would be. Well very. Yes. Indeed.
I’m really happy they decided to, make the battle system like the original KH instead of stuuuuupid cards. (wow that was annoying) And that we get to follow on from KH2. The story will forever be complicated but It’s still enjoyable.
MUSIC!
Great reviews on the music for KH3D which has always been one of my favourite aspects of KH itself. The music is just beautiful and suits the games so well, just the start up page of KH2 I could sit and watch for ages, before playing the game itself.
So, check out Nintendo Magazine’s latest review of the game. I’m pretty impressed and just can.. not.. wait!

Hey guys,
I wanted to do a game review on Disney Universe for PS3.
I recently watched the review for this game on the Wii by WiiVeiwr -

And I have to say, I was disappointed he didn’t enjoy it, and didn’t give it a great review. I think part of this might be down to the fact that he played it on the Wii, don’t get me wrong, I enjoy playing on the Wii, certain games such as the Lego franchise work really well on that console, but others I would stick to either the PS3 or Xbox.
So, to begin with I really wanted this game due to the similarty to Lego, who cares if it’s a rip off, it’s still a great time passing game that will keep you entertained for at least a day. Yes it’s not for ‘Hardcore’ gamers, but it’s still one you can chill out to, with a friend. It’s multi-player, up to four players and you get to be some great characters, the’re almost like Sackboys, in costumes.
Level design is really imaginative, and although you are guided by an arrow throughout the game, you sort of need it, as tasks and objects arn’t slapping you in the face, so I guess that is one downfall.
But the levels such as, Aladdin, Pirates of the Caribbean and The Lion King, were my favourites, they were just fun levels, that you could relate back to the original movie. You have three different levels in each world, and the more you play them the more characters and costumes you unlock.

Controls weren’t always great, especially when you are trying to drive a vehicle, it just seemed to go wherever it fancied. But attacking and moving the character itself was easy.
I do have one huge fault, you don’t have a bar or hearts anywhere on the screen to see how much life you have left. So at some points you’ll be fighting and suddenly die. This got really frustrating because the character takes at least a minute to revive and begin moving again.
You can also, download new levels for the game, which is a great idea, as there is so much potential for this game, except you have to pay for them and they weren’t cheap! I really wanted the Halloween Town level, but it was £5 and I didn’t play the game that often to really want the download.
Overall I suppose for a 3year old this game would be amazing .. for a 19year old, well I enjoyed it and being a mahoosive Disney fan I wanted to at least say I have tried it. I would still buy it, or at least try and borrow it off someone you know before buying it.
